AU is a chilling account told through the found video diary footage of a pair of sociopaths who torture and murder unsuspecting victims in an extremely brutal manner. The killers record what they want when they want it on their hand held cameras, completely taking away any sense of watching a regular “Hollywood produced” film and leaving the viewer questioning whether or not what he/she is watching is real or not. The cameraman never physically appears in the film as he follows a large man (played by actor/director Fred Vogel) who leads viewers on a path of terror.
